From the Author:

Hi everyone!

My latest erotic romance from Amber Quill Press is titled Ultimate Night’s Delights. It’s the third and final novella in a series that began with A Midsummer Night’s Delights and continued with A Midwinter Night’s Delights. Although all three stories are connected, they each stand alone as individual reads.

Readers and reviewers fell in love with the first book and wanted a sequel, so I wrote one. In the second book, I gave a little backstory about Vincent and Sabrina and explained how they met. In this book, I share some insight on two secondary characters, Lono and Lobo. (Readers were briefly introduced to them in the second book.)

I think fans of the first two novellas will find this one to be a satisfying conclusion to the series. Here’s a hot excerpt:

Excerpt:

Julian slid his tongue across Ivan’s nipple and he shuddered. “That feels good, yes?”

“Oh yes,” Ivan replied.

After kissing for a few minutes, Ivan had suggested that they take off their shirts. Ivan’s skin felt soft and supple, and he had a thin patch of brown chest hair. Each time they kissed and stroked each other, Ivan encouraged him to keep going.

“Would you like anything else?” he asked, caressing Ivan’s flat belly. He eased his hand near the edge of Ivan’s breeches, then pulled away. Ivan’s cock strained against the material, stretching it out in front, but Julian pretended not to notice.

Ivan swallowed hard. “I would like…something, but you probably wouldn’t do it,” he said, glancing away.

“I would. I’m here for your pleasure.” He kissed Ivan’s cheek. “If you removed those breeches, you’d feel more comfortable.”

“And then?”

“And then I will do whatever you wish.”

“Would you, kiss me…down there?” Ivan asked.

“Oh yes, I’d be happy to, and I know you’d enjoy it.”

Ivan stood and kicked off his brown suede boots. “Go ahead.” He closed his eyes. “Do what you will.”

Julian rose and kissed him, then brought his lips close to Ivan’s ear. “I’ll take your meat in my mouth and lick and suck you until you think you’ll faint. Then you’ll be so hard, so eager, you’ll beg me to let you come. And when you do, I’ll be there, with my lips wrapped tight around you, sucking you dry.”

Ivan groaned and Julian smiled. Ivan was going to love this. He bent his head and licked Ivan’s nipples, then inch by inch, slid his tongue down his chest to his flat stomach.

“If you want me to stop, say so,” Julian said, kissing Ivan’s ribs.

“No, keep going,” he croaked out.

After a grueling battle in ancient Greece, lovers Dexios and Lykon committed their lives to each other in the name of Goddess Cythera. After the war, fearing the strength of his love for Dexios, Lykon abandoned his vow and returned home. Heartbroken, Dexios called on Cythera, who changed him into four unfinished statues. In that form he would wait for his fickle lover to return, break the curse, and make him whole.

Thousands of years have passed when Galen Kanellis finds the disassembled pieces in the storeroom of a Seattle museum and makes them the focus of his new exhibit. Needing information, he contacts his ex-lover Nick Charisteas. Nick has a lifelong dream of finding the Dexios Collection, and the last thing he expected was for it to wind up in the hands of the man who broke his heart. As both men search for answers about the statues, worries of abandonment and fear of loss test their renewed relationship, threatening to separate them again—this time permanently.

Excerpt:
The Vow

The sounds of the encampment surrounded Dexios and Lykon—the snap and crackle of the fires, the soft moans of men pleasuring themselves mixing with the snores of those who grabbed what rest they could. Dexios and Lykon had made their own little sanctuary behind the brush, closer to the shore, wrapped up in their blankets, cloaks, and each other.

Their urgent coupling had erased the fears of the day, yet Dexios was unable to put those fears completely behind him. It intruded upon his thoughts, pushing him to consider the days that would follow. He slid his hand down to Lykon’s muscled stomach and splayed his fingers. In the calm following the day’s battle he found that being near did not seem to be enough. He wanted to be nearer still.

Lykon chuckled, laid his hand over Dexios’s, and twined their fingers together. “You’re restless tonight. Share your mind with me, or is it my touch you seek again?” His voice dropped low with seductive intent as he stretched before settling in Dexios’s arms again, fitting against him as if he belonged there. Dexios held him closer, luxuriating in the warmth of Lykon’s back and the way his buttocks pressed against his groin.

Dexios wanted to ensure Lykon would always be there, and once again his thoughts jerked back to the day’s harrowing battle. Lykon was safe. He was here. Dexios’s arms tightened around him. “Reinforcements will arrive on the morrow,” Dexios said and kissed the side of Lykon’s neck, breathing him in. The blood and sweat had been washed away earlier, replaced with the clean brine of the ocean and Lykon’s own scent. “The fighting will be fierce once the enemy realizes they are cornered. They will not give way without a struggle.”

Lykon twisted to look back at him. “Whether they lay down their arms or continue to fight is of no matter. The outcome will be the same.” He smiled, a slow, sensual upturn of his lips that heated Dexios’s blood. “My sole concern is how many days I have left with you before we are sent home. I want to make the most of every moment.” He kissed Dexios, sliding a hand into his hair. “Come, I do not wish to speak more of battles, not when there are pleasures to explore.”

Dexios shifted and turned Lykon onto his back. The moon shone down on his face, illuminating the strong lines of his jaw and nose. The camp quieted for the night, allowing Dexios to hear the sound of the waves washing against the shore in the distance. Fitting, all things considered, and Dexios prayed that Cythera would hear his words to Lykon and bless them.

“The end of the war does not mean we have to part.” He stared down at Lykon, hovering over him. “I would rather stay by your side.”

Lykon frowned, slid his arm around Dexios’s waist, and pulled his weight down on him. “You do not speak sense. They will expect us back at home. We have duties awaiting us that have been long ignored.”

“Duties that others have taken up while we fought to keep them safe.” Dexios could not deny the want inside of him anymore. Not after the fierce fighting earlier today. Not after seeing Lykon fall and thinking the worst. The vivid memory still chilled him, the image etched behind his eyes of the enemy standing over his lover, spear poised to take his life. Somehow Dexios had found the divine strength to get to him, to stop the blow.

He slid his arms under Lykon, held him close, and reassured himself with the heat of his body. Why was Lykon not bothered by the same memories? Mere moments after his own close encounter with death, Lykon had saved him in return by shoving him out of the way and blocking a lethal strike to Dexios’s unguarded back.

They had both almost died this day. For what? So they could part after their friendship had changed into a relationship far more profound? Dexios loved him. He had not believed himself capable of such deep emotion until he had found Lykon. The fate he wanted for them did not include living apart and never seeing one another.

“What is it you are trying to say?” Lykon pushed him aside and sat up, bracing his hands behind him as he looked at Dexios with his eyebrows drawn together and a slight grimace twisting his lips. “Speak your thoughts plainly. Do you wish for us to join a mercenary unit to find another battle? I have no desire for more bloodshed. We have been fighting for years now. We’ve done what we set out to do. Our families and lands are safe.”

“No more fighting.” Dexios was done with seeing Lykon in danger, of tending to his wounds, and having his own wounds stitched by Lykon. “If we both go home we will not see each other again. At least not often enough for what I want.”

Dexios knelt in front of Lykon. His heart pounded, his chest tightened. “You know what is in my heart, Lykon, how I feel about you. You have said that you feel the same. Is it true?”

Lykon stretched out his hand and cupped Dexios’s jaw. “I do. Don’t doubt that. I do not wish to think of what may happen on the morrow or the day after. You worry too much about the past and the future. Only the here and now matters. Love me here and let me love you in return.”

Dexios closed his eyes and turned his head to kiss Lykon’s calloused palm. He had tried to live in Lykon’s moment, and he thought he had succeeded until today. He could not get the image of the spear out of his head. He had almost lost Lykon earlier. When the war ended he would lose him still. Lose him to his family and the other life that awaited him. It made him ache inside to think so. “I want more. I want a lifetime with you. Say you want the same.”

“I do, but I do not see how we can have it.” Lykon brushed his fingers along Dexios’s jaw. “Our wants are passionate, not practical. We cannot let our hearts rule our minds.”

“Why not?” Dexios set his jaw, opened his eyes, and caught Lykon’s gaze. “We both have younger brothers who have taken up our duties at home, younger brothers who are about to take wives to breed more sons and daughters. Our families would demand too much if we returned home. We will have done our duty when this war ends. Let us find a place where we can be together. A place by the shore all our own.”

“What of our lands, our inheritances? Do you not wish to return home to see your family at least, and let them know you survived?”

“We can let them know together. I will travel with you to your home, and then we can visit my family one last time. I do not care for either lands or inheritances if you are not with me. We will be rewarded with many riches when the enemy is routed. We can use that coin to start over.”

“You ask much.” Lykon angled his body away and the uncertainty on his face made Dexios’s stomach clench. “I had not given thought to abandoning everything.”

“Not everything.” Dexios cupped Lykon’s face in his hands and turned it toward him. Dexios had never seen him look afraid before, not even during the fiercest battle. “I will be with you.”

Lykon remained quiet as he searched Dexios’s face. He must have seen something there that reassured him because some of the tension left his body. “I admit, I am unsure about returning home again after these last few years. I am not the same person I was when I left. I have no desire to marry and tend to the land….”

He looked away, the silence falling rich with unspoken promise. Dexios held his breath, waiting to hear what Lykon would say next. Some answers could not be prodded and pushed for. Then Lykon slanted a glance at him and continued in a softer voice, “And I have no wish to be parted from you. You have caught me unawares. I did not realize you harbored such thoughts.”

“I did not realize it either until today. I do not think I could have borne it if you had died.”

Understanding flickered in Lykon’s eyes. “You stopped the spear. I had no doubt that you would. We have guarded each other’s backs well.”

Dexios brushed his thumbs over Lykon’s cheeks and the rough scrape of unshaven skin grounded him. Not knowing had become an agony that tore him open more than any gaping wound. “Say you will go with me. Please, I love you.”

A smile flickered over Lykon’s lips and he leaned closer to brush his mouth over Dexios’s. “Yes,” he whispered.

Dexios sat back on his heels as relief washed through him. He grinned and kissed Lykon hard on the mouth. “Say it again. Swear it. Swear it in her name.”

Lykon laughed and tugged Dexios down on the makeshift bedding with him. “I swear it by Cythera, and the waves that gave birth to her shall hear my vow. I love you, Dexios. I will go where you go and I will stay by your side.” He kissed Dexios before he could respond and said against his lips, “No more words. Show me that you want me.”

Warning: This title is intended for readers over the age of 18 as it contains adult sexual situations and/or adult language, and may be considered offensive to some readers.

Excerpt:

“Legion,” Adoni scoffed. “He made his choice millennia ago. He has chosen to rule the night and those who do harm for the sole pleasure of it.”

“That is not entirely true and you know it, Adoni, my son. He went to war and saved me, he defeated Magda and became the Dark Lord, the choice was never his,” Inanna said with a bit of steel in her voice. “Legion has never liked rules and conformity, he shies away from responsibility, but you know as well as I do that he has goodness in him. Often though it is disguised in the form of rage, but he always protects those he takes under his wing and destroys those that cross him.”

“Legion hasn’t been willing to risk anything for anyone since he took over the Dark Realms,” Adoni argued. “I will always be grateful that he went to battle against Magda and defeated her but when he did that he lost a large part of his goodness. He rules the Dark Realms better than I ever could have. I’m fully willing to admit that, but he lost his compassion, Mother, you know that as well as I do. He started a war against me and the council, one that he lost and now he won’t speak to me unless he is forced to. We both lost people in the war between our realms, lost people that we cared about, it’s the price of war but he can’t continue to live in the past. He must learn to move on.”

“Darkness shall find light, innocence shall find darkness, and united the truth shall speak,” Inanna whispered.

Adoni shook his head. “How can darkness find light and innocence find darkness? It’s a contradiction, Mother.”

She shook her head. “It came to me on the night wind. All I know is that our little Legion has a heart somewhere deep inside of him, and in that heart the faintest traces of love do exist.”

He reached over pushing a stray lock of her long black hair behind her ear as he looked into her eyes trying to see what she wasn’t saying. “I never can be sure what you mean when you begin to talk in riddles, Mother.”

She smiled faintly. “That is the joy of being from the realm of the Valerion. We may get glimpses of the future but it’s always in riddles and the meaning is never clear. So many factors make up the future. So many different choices affecting other choices. Therefore, you can never really be sure what the meaning is only because the outcome is always affected by the decisions you make. The only thing I can be certain of is Legion will show us that he is willing to risk everything for someone.”

“Only if they have a heart as black as his,” Adoni said sarcastically.

“No, the one that causes him to risk everything is not truly a dark heart,” she stated firmly. “I don’t know who it is yet but they aren’t as dark as they let others believe, and we shall soon find out that neither is Legion.”

He chuckled. “Well I for one can’t wait for the day that Legion shows us he is not the vain, self-centered, conniving serpent we all believe him to be.”

“It will come soon, my son, believe me, it will come soon,” Inanna said softly but with conviction.

“I need to go back in and finish some paperwork. Will you be out here long?” He leaned over to kiss his mother’s forehead.

“Not much longer, I’ll finish my tea and come back inside.” She slid her hand down her son’s cheek feeling the slight stubble of the day’s growth. “You look so much like your father.”

“I have heard that often but I don’t see it. My father…” He didn’t finish the sentence.

“Would be so proud of you.” She smiled.

“I should have held the family together better than I did. Dad was such a wonderful, strong leader and I’m just a shadow of what he was.”

“You’ve held the family together the best you could, you’ve ruled the realms to the best of your ability. Legion is a strong spirited young man. He gets that from my side of the family. You, Adoni, have been a wonderful leader, no one questions your abilities.”

He looked at the night sky. “I can’t even remember what he sounded like.”

She reached for her son’s hand, but he had moved away, heading back into the house and back to the duties of being the King.

Going through the motions in a loveless marriage, Chris is unaware of how much he is missing--until he meets Leif.

The gorgeous, tempestuous man turns Chris's life upside down in every way.

Can Chris save himself from this dangerous affair, or will his life forever be changed by love?

Review:

With that title, you can guess what this book is about, can't you? If infidelity squicks you, this is not the book for you.

Chris and Stephanie are childhood sweethearts and have been married for six years. Things were all right at first but gradually the two of them grow further and further apart, with different interests and they hardly ever see each other any more. They've become more like room mates who share the same house.

Chris can't even remember the last time they had sex and both of them don't seem that bothered about it.

While on a business trip, Chris indvertently hits on a handsome guy, Leif, in a hotel bar but soon realises that maybe, yes he would like to go back to the man's room and the two fall instantly in lust.

I liked how the book progressed with Chris and Leif at first being together because they are great together physically, but as time goes on they realise there is more to it than that, espeically when Leif ends up in hospital due to his psycho ex-boyfriend.

It's very well written and the sex scenes are so scorching it's off the scale, but to be honest I would have preferred just a little less sex and more of the two of them talking and really getting to know each other.

We don't get to see much of Stephanie, but there is always a small tendril of guilt in the back of Chris's head every time he's with Leif, but not enough to give Leif up. I think how things worked out with the divorce was a little glossed over, I'm sure it would have been more messy in real-life, but since it is a book and not real-life, I can handle it.

The story is passionate and a little bit angsty, but not too much and I was grateful that Stephanie was never turned into some uber-witch who was out to ruin Chris's life.

Chris is very much the alpha male here and I nearly laughed my head off when Chris and Leif were dressed as characters from Rocky Horror at Halloween. We'd just seen the stage show the other day at the theatre and a woman in the audience behind was heard to comment, "Oh, that's so hot!" when Frank N Furter appeared in a corset and stockings. Leif in the corset and stockings in the book - I agree, totally hot!

Long-time yaoi fan Grant didn't expect to be so attracted to the main character of his latest purchase-and he definitely didn't expect to wake up next to him one morning. But that's what happened. Even the sparkles, hearts, and small animals from the manga follow Teruo around Grant's apartment. If Grant weren't so distracted by lust, he'd find it really annoying.

When Teruo announces that he intends to stay with Grant because he has nowhere else to go, Grant is both pleased and terrified. Grant has been alone too long, and even with the sparkles, Teruo has made his way into Grant's heart. But if Grant can't find the words to tell Teruo how he feels, Teruo might vanish as suddenly as he appeared.

Review:

Grant is a closet yaoi fan and when he sees the handome bishie on the cover a new manga called Flower Grove, he can't resist buying it. He falls in lust with the character, thinking about them all the time and wishing he had someone like Teuro in his humdrum real-life. You'll need to suspend your disbelief for a while, but that's no hardship in such a fun tale.

One morning Grant wakes up to find Teuro in his bed, complete with bishie sparkles, smiley faces, frolicking animals and all. If you've read any yaoi manga or seen any animes, then you will get all of the little in-jokes, but even if you haven't seen any of those, I think you could still enjoy this story.

It is short and so sweet, Teuro was adorable, I wanted to hug him when Grant kept wondering if he was hallucinating him. It's easily read in a an hour or two and I defy anyone not to have a smile on their face after reading this. It was wonderful fun, with just a wee bit of angst - you can't really have yaoi without it, can you? ;)

Brandon McKinney has scraped and sacrificed for what little in life he’s ever had. Though it’s been fifteen years since he escaped his father’s abuse, the damage remains. Trust seems as far out of reach as his dream of becoming an architect, and though he’s come to accept being gay, he can’t deny the shame and confusion he feels at other urges—the deeply-repressed desire to submit.

Jonathan Watkins is a self-made Silicon Valley billionaire whose ex-wife took half his money and even more of his faith. Comfortable as a Dominant but wary of being hurt again, he resorts to anonymous pickups and occasional six-month contracts with subs seeking only a master, not a lover.

When a sizzling back-alley encounter cues Jonathan in to Brandon’s deep-seated submissive side, he makes the man an offer: Give me six months of your life, and I’ll open your eyes to a whole new world. Brandon doesn’t care about that; all he wants is the three million dollars Jonathan’s offering so he can buy the construction company he works for. But he soon learns that six months on his knees is no easy feat, and shame and pride may keep him from all he ever wanted—and all he never dreamed he had any right to have.

(Publisher's note: This title contains heavy BDSM play. While consent is clearly established and frequently reaffirmed, some moments in Power Play push hard against the outer edges of consent.)

Review:

"While consent is clearly established and frequently reaffirmed, some moments in Power Play push hard against the outer edges of consent."

I thought I knew what I was getting in to when I read that publisher's warning, but I was wrong. This book is intense and not for the faint of heart. There were some scenes I felt pushed way beyond safe, sane and consensual for me. Jonathan tells Brandon he may use a safeword only when he needs to, not just when he wants to and it is Jonathan who will decide which it is, taking the control out of Brandon's hands altogether. He threatens Brandon with a taser and Brandon understandably is absolutely terrified. This is not a fantasy book, it's set in the real world, a real world where you could easily die from being tasered!

I really disliked Jonathan and thought he was into BDSM because he liked inflicting pain on others, and he seemed to have no thought to Brandon's comfort or needs at all. If Brandon was truly submissive, which Jonathan insisted he was, wasn't it Jonathan's job as a good Dominant to help Brandon discover that side of himself for their mutual benefit and gratification? But most of the book was Jonathan wanting something and getting it, and if Brandon didn't agree, even if he used his safeword, he was punished. It didn't matter that Brandon got aroused by the rough treatment, there were even parts where he said he didn't want what Jonathan was doing to him, but Jonathan ignored him. It seems to be very dubious consent the whole way through, sometimes pushing towards non-consent at times.

To me, this read like an abusive relationship, rather than a loving BDSM one. I don't know if that's just me being naĆÆve for this pushed way too many buttons for me, but not in a good way. It was uncomfortable to read and I felt sorry for Bran and Jonathan's treatment of him. I was looking for a spicy love story, but this wasn't it.

Agamemnon Frost and the House of Death

Description:

Liverpool, 1891

Decorated artilleryman Edgar Mason was forced to find new work when the British Empire replaced its foot soldiers with monstrous machines. Now he waits on the Liverpool elite as a personal servant. He has just one rule: he won’t work for fashion-addled dandies.

Agamemnon Frost, however, is far from the foppish man-about-town he appears to be. He’s working to protect the Earth from an alien invasion being planned by a face-changing creature known as Pandarus. And on the night he plans to confront the aliens, he enlists Mason to assist him.

For a man to love a man is a serious crime in Victorian England. But when Mason meets Frost, his heart thunders and his blood catches fire. And when Pandarus drags the two men into the torture cellars beneath his house of death to brainwash them, Mason’s new passion may be all that stands between him and insanity.

The trilogy continues with Agamemnon Frost and the Hollow Ships.

Review:

I must admit that I have never read any Steampunk before, but if the rest are anything like this book, I think I've been missing out.

Like a lot of army men, Edgar Mason has been forcibly retired from the army as more and more machines replace the men like him. Before joining the army he used to work as a manservant and he places himself on an agency register to get some gainful employment once more. He is requested for just one night to act as valet for Agamemnon Frost, who Mason thinks is nothing but fop and is glad the job is just for one night. Mason resolves to tell the agency as soon as possible that he doesn't want to work for someone like Frost again.

But Frost is no perfumed dandy at all, and enlists Mason's help in going up against the aliens planning an invasion  of Earth.

This book was wonderful! It was such a fun read, despite the subject matter. There were lost of little amusing things throughout as well as the exciting, adventure aspects. You could cut the sexual tension between Mason and Frost with a knife, but they don't actually do anything more than share some heated kisses in this first book, they kept getting interrupted, so they and the readers are left frustrated. We have to hope that the relationship will develop a bit more over the course of the next books.

The writing was fantastic, I was reminded of reading H.G. Wells and Jules Verne many years ago, wondering what sort of adventure the author was going to take us on next. Romance, adventure, intrigue, this book had it all and I'm glad I gave some Steampunk a go. Just one question, Ms. Knox - when's the next one coming out?

About the Author:

A.J. Kelton are the dynamic writing team of Angel and Jordan. The couple met online several years ago on an Alexander fan site and have been friends ever since. Angel soon found that Jordan had a flare for storytelling with several half-finished stories on her computer. Angel encouraged Jordan to finish the stories and with help in creative description she decided to send the stories off to MLR press. They were both shocked and excited when they got the news that Faelon was accepted for publication. While Jordan may have a flare for storytelling she doesn’t enjoy the smaller details in getting a story ready for publication. That is where Angel comes in; she spends countless hours getting the story ready after line edits, going over each line in proofing and formatting, making decisions such as covers and fonts, all things that Jordan just has problems focusing on.

Angel is always on the lookout for her perfect mate, a cross between Ethan from Under the Australian Sky and Evan from Marco.  Until Mr. Perfect appears at her door, or in front of her booth wanting an autograph she loves to read, take pictures and attend concerts of all kinds. She loves all things 80’s. Angel lives in Texas with her two dogs, Daisy a beagle who she insists is nothing like snoopy and her and her Chihuahua Bonita.

When not writing Jordan loves to read anything from Amish romance to the dark taboo books of fiction both M/M and Het. She is a very avid reader, except when writing because she doesn’t want to be influenced by what she is reading. Jordan loves to travel and often her latest vacation spots show up in his books. While Jordan is always looking for that perfect place to live at the moment she can be found in Kansas.

Both writers have solo projects coming out in the future, Angel with Misunderstandings under the name Angel Rothamel. Jordan with Legion under the name Rider Jacobs.

Both authors would love to hear from you. You can contact them at AJKelton@AJKelton.com. You can also find them on Facebook under both AJ Kelton, Angel Rothamel and Rider Jacobs.

Excerpt:

“You mind?” he asked, opening up his laptop. “I have to work on my article for the magazine I work for.”

“Can’t do that in your room?” Marco muttered.

“Oh I could, but I thought, who wants to stay locked in their room? I figured I would come down here, get to know my fellow judges a bit better, grab a bite to eat, and work on my article. So tell me, how do you think it is going so far?”

“I thought you wrote about night clubs and the ‘it’ crowd.” Marco turned his attention back to the screen, ignoring the question and sending a silent prayer that his newfound friend would get bored and leave him in peace.

“Yeah, night clubs, the new ‘it’ people and what they are eating, what trends they will be starting. If you decided to go vegan from here on out, I would be the one who writes about the hottest vegan places you attend and what you like to eat. Since I am here though I’m going to cover the competition, write up a few articles on what happens before the cameras, and what’s going on behind the scenes.”

“What the great Marco really thinks about what he eats,” Marco muttered under his breath trying to fight his exasperation. It was just his luck that one of the judges would not only be young but also not know how to keep quiet. He began to wonder if Ashton had known that Jaron chattered nonstop and had made a run for his room to keep from being hounded by the young journalist or whatever he claimed to be. A reporter was a reporter no matter what fancy name they chose to give it.

“So anyway I thought perhaps if you didn’t mind I would sit here beside you and write.”

“If you can do it quietly,” the Latin heartthrob said.

Jaron looked at Marco. “So what are you working on anyway?”

Marco leaned back giving a deep sigh. He had to fight the desire to reach out and touch the shoulder length hair and see if it was half as soft as it looked. “I am reading a script, listening to music and coming up with songs for my new album, I’ve been asked to write a closing number for a Broadway musical, and finally blogging about an annoying up and coming reporter masquerading as a judge who badgers me night and day for an interview.”

“Really?” Jaron looked at him, his eyes wide.

“All true except that last part, I don’t blog.”

“Well you should, it might be cool to read what you think about the happenings around you. I bet you would have thousands of people logged on to see your latest thoughts on what’s happening here.”

“I’ll hop right on that,” he muttered.

“Are you being sarcastic?” Jaron asked casually, his hand running through his hair. He had noticed that Marco was looking at it. He had nice hair and knew it, might as well use that to his advantage.

“Me?” He looked up with wide-eyed innocence. “I find being sarcastic often goes over the head of the ones whom it is directed toward.”

Super cat, Aloysius, may be the most powerful witch’s familiar in the world, but when he takes a blast at the hand of an evil witch he loses it all -- power, memory, and his feline form -- to become the ethereal human beauty, Alain Bellarose.

When Alain wakes up naked on the floor surrounded by dogs and cats, his eyes first set upon Luke Elliott, the handsome and mysterious veterinarian.  Suddenly, the prospect of being human doesn’t seem so bad.

Luke has a lot to hide and he likes animals way more than people, but he can’t resist the flamboyant boy who washes his face with the side of his hand and tries to lick his own privates!  The loss of Aloysius depletes the power of the Witch Master, Killian Barth, and that of his “secret weapon” Sammy and leaves their coven sitting ducks for two very nasty females. When Alain discovers that he’s really a powerful cat, he’s faced with the ultimate choice. To protect his community, or stay with the man he loves.

Excerpt:

Alain sat cross-legged on the bed. These pajama pants Luke bought him were pretty comfortable. What a strange night. Who were those men to him? Killian and Blaine? They seemed very important. The urge to protect Killian had wiped out every thought and feeling he had. Still, they hadn’t recognized him. That was disappointing, but he didn’t know why.

He sighed. And Luke. The man wanted to get rid of him. Couldn’t blame him. Alain had come in and interfered with his privacy. He should leave. But that felt so wrong. And he wanted to be friends with Luke. He could feel the man’s loneliness like a well of darkness. But when he tried to be friends, his big penis kept getting in the way. Like last night. He just wanted to have Luke’s company in that bed, but he kept waking up with his member hard and hurting. It didn’t feel all that relaxed right now.

He looked over at Amelia, who stuck her leg in the air, leaned down, and licked her female parts. Hmm. He listened. Dishes still rattled in the kitchen. Luke had said he’d clean up since Alain had set everything out. He would have liked to help, but it felt like Luke wanted to be alone.

Amelia seemed to be enjoying her bath. He should be able to do it. He stretched out a leg and bent down. His head easily rested on his thigh. If he tucked his head, it might work.

He slipped off his pajama pants and dropped them on the bed beside him. There it was. He had no idea how he came to have such an impressive penis. And he must have a basis for comparison, because he knew it was big. Whose penis had he seen? What did Luke’s penis look like?

He reached down and pulled back his foreskin. That felt very good indeed.

Okay. Could he do it? He leaned until his head passed his thigh and rested on the sheet beneath. So close. With one hand, he grabbed his penis and stretched it toward his mouth. He curled his neck. Damn, it seemed like it would feel so good if he could clean it like Amelia was doing. Why didn’t it work?

He stuck out his tongue.

Yes. The tip of his tongue contacted the foreskin. Oh my goodness. He gave two licks. With his other hand, he pulled back the skin and exposed the gleaming head of his member. Oh yes. His tongue made contact again. Warm, wet, heavenly. He stretched his tongue until the root burned, but he couldn’t get much more of the penis wet. Still, this was wonderful. What would it be like if someone else did it for him?

His rumbles tickled his chest. “Hmmpurrrrr.” He licked all around the head, then tried to push into that tiny hole. “Purrrrrrrrr.”

“Alain?” Luke’s voice came from behind the door that stood ajar.

He froze. Luke seemed to find him unusual. This felt like a perfectly normal activity to him, but Luke might not think so.

“Is anything wrong?” Luke sounded concerned.

Alain grabbed his pajama pants and pulled them across his lap as he sat up. His penis was quite stiff from his ministrations. “No, I’m fine. Come in.”

Luke pushed open the door, glanced at Alain’s lap, and blushed. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to intrude. You should have closed your door, and I wouldn’t have bothered you.”

What did he mean, exactly?

Luke grinned. “But hey, we all do it, right?”

Oh. “You do? Because I found it quite difficult.”

“You did?”

Alain pulled his eyebrows together. “Amelia does it with such ease, but I found I couldn’t get as far as she does. How do you do it?”

Luke frowned and sat on the edge of the bed. “Amelia? What are we talking about, Alain?”

“Trying to lick one’s balls and member. Isn’t that what you meant?”

Luke’s mouth opened, then closed again. Then he started to laugh. “Not exactly, but I was correct that there’s hardly a guy on the planet who hasn’t tried it. Never with much success, though. If we could do it, the race would probably vanish, since no man would look for a partner to do it for him.” He laughed some more.
